Precious Nirvana Layout from Shanna

Hello crafter's out there. Shanna here with a layout to share.

I played around with a new stencil and some matte gel medium. Then I added some color and splatter.

I added some papers and cut outs from the Nirvana collection with a doily in the mix and my photo.

I added some flowers and leaves along with the chipboard title "Precious".

I had tons of fun creating this layout and just had a blast throwing it together. I also love this paper line so I can't wait to share more with you all again.

Have fun creating!

Cute As A Button Layout by Shanna

Hello to all you lovelies out there. Shanna here with a layout. I just love this photo and thought it went great with these Tea Party papers.

I love the layers of papers I added along with some flowers and a doily. I did add some gold sparkle to the background for some extra shine.

I added a chipboard title that was painted with black paint.

I really love the tag I cut out from one of the cut out sheets  (sorry I don't remember which one though).

I also added some cardboard under the photo for a little dimension.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Make sure you keep coming back for more inspiration!

@Love Layout by Irene Tan

Hello friends! Have you all tried playing with the Color Lab kit by Marion Smith Designs? If not, today I would like to show you all a layout which I've decorated with tons of flowers colored using Color Lab.

This layout features the beautiful and vintage "Junque Gypsy" collection by Marion Smith Designs.

To warm the tones of this layout, I've used Color Lab to color some warmer tones on the flowers.

It is so easy to color these flowers using Color Lab. Here are some simple steps which I've used. First of all, mist the flowers by using the spray with the mixture of color pigments of your choice.

While the flower is still wet, use a brush and some darker tones pigment to add depths to it.

Keep adding colors until you get your desired flower look. I've also added some glitter to my flowers for some sparkle.

Supplies Used:
Junque Gypsy collection

Hope you all like these simple tips. Hope to see you all again soon!

Grateful For Happiness

Hello all you lovelies. Today Shanna here with a layout I created a layout to share you using some fabulous papers.

I love seeing all the different ads of newspaper and I thought why not use these to create a collage. With how they vary in size and shape I thought this would be perfect.

So once I cut them out I pulled the ones I wanted and glued them down.

While the glue was drying I gesso'd the chipboard.

I used the gesso I had left with a bit of water to sprinkle on the background.

While I let that dry I got started with layering up the chipboard.

I used some Silks Acrylic Paint and some Twinkling H20's.

I used H20's to layer up colors on the background before I added my photo and embellishments.

Here you can see the final layout and close ups.

Give it a go collaging the tiniest pieces and have fun creating.

"Posh" Layout with Sandi

Hello, everyone!

Sandi here with you today sharing a layout created with papers from the "Posh" collection. Classic teal, florals and leopard … so yummy!

I did a small bit of mixed media work on the background but kept it very light. I wanted that floral paper to really shine front and center.

Then I built up a few layers with media, papers, embellies and flowers. I even pulled out a fabric flower I've had for YEARS~ but it was so perfect for this photo!

Here are a few close-ups:

That's it from me today.
Thanks for coming by today!

Sandi's "Gangsta Joy" layout!

Hello, there!
Sandi here with you today sharing a layout … although a different kind for me. I had this funky photo of my daughter, her hubby and friends from a day they were riding their motorcycles and thought it would fun to scrap. Something different from the pretty or vintage that I usually do.  I didn't totally let loose .. I thought a mix of feminine and grunge would be fun!

I've use the Time Keeper Marchant as my base and added Time Keeper Exploratorium, Time Keeper Carnival and Romance Novel Chapter 2 My Type for layers. I prepped my background with clear gesso, did some mixed media work and began building my layers. I love using lots of layers! At first, I was going for a monotone look but decided the pop of hot pink would really add some zest! You know me, always have to add some color! Lots of fun embellies on this one, too!

Here are some close-ups:

That's it from me today!
See .. you can use your products in unexpected ways!
Try it, it's fun!
