Use your stash: Florence from the Creative Planner Team

Hey everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic weekend. I was inspired to do next weeks layout with items I already had in my planner. I'm not sure about you, but I fill my pockets with goodies. Tons of it. And what I've noticed is yes they look great filled for photo opportunities but why not use this supply on my actual weekly layout. So I pulled a few things out of their pockets and got to work. 

One of the items on the week on two pages layout that I have been loving is these daily hearts. I want to track my steps, vitamins, bible studying, photo deletions, and journaling. This is a great way to check off your daily to do list in such a simple way. 

Dust off what you have in your stash and put it into use! You'll be surprised what you can do with a few stickers. Until next time!

Hello Ara here today to share with you my layouts for this week. This week I am using the sweet life weekly planner inserts. I am sure I mentioned that I am totally digging these inserts. Look at all that space!!

  Here is a better look of the left side of the spread. At the bottom of each day I like to write down what we will be having for either dinner or lunch. I also like decorating my planner with lots of stickers, labels, stencils and fortunes from fortune cookies (I don't eat the cookie, I just take out the fortune).

This week I decided I would use the Sweet life daily inserts for my hobby section.  I used the Marion Smith date seals as  bullet points. I also used the Purple Heart checklist notepad to mark down errands.

Friends, Football, Family Layout by Angela Carter

My husband is a huge football fan. Really, he's a sports fanatic. He loves everything football, basketball, and the Olympics. Admittedly, we are both very obsessed with the Olympics. 

With a sport obsessed husband you can imagine we spend lots of time around stadiums, in uncomfortable seats, with hundreds and thousands of strangers. It's a blast every time and we love it, albeit one of us more than the other. 

I had this picture from a game I attended with the husband and his entire family. It was Alcorn State University's game here in Houston, TX and it was a great time to be had at the NRG stadium. The best part is that my long time friend Michella was in attendance with her husband who happens to be my husband's cousin. So now not only are we friends, we are family as well. 

BTW - I take full matchmaking credit for their union. 

Today I'm sharing a layout using my favorite Marion Smith Designs Collection, POSH. In my mind Marion created this collection just for me. For this layout I mixed a few PL Cards with this background paper (Chic Lace) as well as the beautiful teal lace paper (Rose Tea) from the POSH collection. Here you can see a close up of that gorgeous background paper. 

These flowers are so dimensional with pops of red, orchid, fuchia, and purple. The purple PL card works to bring that purple out as well.

 I brought in a bit of yellow for a pop of color and sprinkled that around the layout. The grey PL card on the bottom of the journaling cluster helped to bring in the yellow. 

My favorite wood-grain patterned paper serves to anchor the picture and embellishment cluster to the center of the layout.
