To create the journaling part, I combined two new sets of stamps from Marion's new products, one is alphabets and one is a really cool mixture of elements that you can use to create your own "chalkboard art" like line breaks and things of that nature. This was so fun! I'll admit I was scared of them at first, but I just got out a scratch piece of paper and started playing and it is really neat! Yes, my letters and things are crooked, and I'm sorry. But the important thing is that you can read it and totally get the point right? I like to call it a fancy mess, kind of like me haha!
Another new stamp I used from the new sets was this darling little butterfly! I heat embossed them with light pink powder. They have a lot of pretty details that make them look so dainty, something I know my boys will love (haha!!)
I used an older picture, but I don't scrap chronologically, I like to use pictures that tug at my heart strings and will trigger a special memory or a tricky time we were in at that moment.
Lots of fussy cutting and tucking ;) I used some vintage book paper to go along with my book and chapter theme, but I wanted to add some pink so I sprayed it down with the new Blush Color Shine by Heidi Swapp. I was a little nervous at first because it's old paper but it took it like a champ and it looks very shimmery and pretty!
I hope I inspired you today! If you haven't already, check out the new Mad Tea Party Line and Marion's new stamps!! They are so so beautiful! Have an amazing day!
Love, Sarah
