I started by cutting out a large tag sized 3" wide by 5 1/4" tall. I used my Cricut, but you can also do this with a Silhouette. The bottom pocket of the tag was made from a label that was cut in half. First, I stitched on 2 layers of lace to the top edge of the label. Then I stitched it on the sides and bottom to make it a place to stick my gift card. I cut a little doily out of the green stripe paper and added it on the very bottom edge.
The Kraft shipping tag is the background for the additional tag I tied on up at the top. I used another of the labels from the paper collection and stitched it on top of the tag. This paper collection has so many darling little elements that can be cut out to add cuteness to any project!
The clock and the To/From were stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink From Stampin' UP. I stamped the clock on a manilla tag and cut it out. I love how it shines by adding Diamond Stickles by Ranger. |
This is the little rose shape I hand cut to create my little rose. (sorry for the messy work-mat!!!) I use a roller tool to roll from the outer edge in. |
So sweet Colette!
