Table Organizer by Irene Tan
Hello Marion Smith Designs fans! It's Irene here with you all today! This time, I'm going to share with you all a table organizer using recycled products. I've decorated this project using the gorgeous Marion Smith Designs "Timekeeper" collection.
To create the piece on the left, I've used an old box and cut it into halves. Then, stack it on top of each other. As for the piece on the right, I've cut an old cereal box and attached it to the earlier piece.
To further decorate this project, I've used some chipboard pieces and flowers.
I used some Color Lab paints to add colors to the chipboard pieces. I've also created a pocket insert on the left of this project.
Supplies Used:
Antique Emporium, Art Nouveau, Carnival, Cogs and Gears, Exploratorium, Marchant, Portfolio, Tinker/Timekeeper
Color Lab
See you all soon!

LOVE THIS~EPIC GRUNGE HEART WITH WINGS
Hello everyone it's Peggy Lee coming to you today with a little mixed media altered "Heart with Wings" art piece! This summer my daughter Emilee and I were snapping silly photos...my daughter had on cool red lip stick...with a gold studded skull shirt (which she knows I can't stand) ha ha!!
I just love this one of her yelling OK mom I had enough-so perfect looks so steam punk rocker!
I started with a piece of cardboard traced a heart and wings....using gesso primed the cardboard piece then added some plaster with brick mask. Then grabbing my glimmer mists and inks started coloring heat setting in between colors. When dried added more texture with a thick layer of gesso with a dot fade stencil.
Using Nirvana and Mad Tea Party papers and stamping the doily from the Curious stamp set.
Added some splatters of glimmer mist and tearing holes in the heart shape paper..added some wire mesh to the back and inked edges with glimmer mist. Highlights with Gold Effects Paint and gesso lightly brushed over raised areas.
Rolled roses from the paper collections...little gems and grunge up gear die cuts.
Lovely texture!!
Junque & Gems by Marion hanging from wire mesh and chains....adored with gems.
Embellishment shots are great for titles tucked around...along with a zip strip with label on the paper..I cut it off and saved it to tuck in around the photo to add a little pop!
There you have it my Mixed Media Altered Heart with Wings!
Thanks for stopping by today,
Peggy Lee

Curiosity Dressform by Tonya Gibbs
Hi everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful New Year.
Today I decided to play around with some fabric dyeing. I pulled out some white muslin fabric and Marion's Curious Stamp Set. I stamped with Ranger's Archival Ink and then began coloring the fabric with Tattered Angel's mists.
When I was finished painting the fabric, I made a dress and decorate a dress form with the fabric and Marion's Garment District collection. I placed the dress from on top of a lace spool and decorate the bottom with notions.
Here is a the back of the dress.

Here is a walk through video
Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend.
